Bicolor cat - A bicolor cat has white fur combined with fur of some other colour, for example black —- in this case they are often referred to as a tuxedo cat. Bicolours are found in many breeds as well as being common in domestic longhair cats and domestic shorthair cats.
List of cat breeds - The following list of cat breeds uses a wide interpretation of the word "breed". Breeds listed here may be traditional breeds with long histories as registered breeds, rare breeds with their own registries, or new breeds that may still be under development.
Ascension Frigatebird - The Ascension Frigatebird (Fregata aquila) breeds only on the tiny Boatswainbird Island near Ascension Island in the tropical Atlantic Ocean. It formerly bred on the larger island, but was exterminated by introduced cats, Brown Rats, and human persecution.
Siamese (cat) - The Siamese is one of the first distinctly recognised breeds of Oriental cat. The exact origins of the breed are unknown, but it is believed to be from South-East Asia, and may be descended from the sacred temple cats of Siam (hence their name).
